Corn sock

Tonight I made a corn sock for "A". She often gets these migraines that knock her out for a whole day. However, the rice sock was retired after a few years since the rice couldn't hold heat very well any more. We decided to use dry corn instead. This site goes into detail. I didn't bother grinding the corn up - I just picked out corn from some "critter feed" we got for the squirrels (live kitty entertainment) and tossed it in the sock. We'll see how it works.

Oooohhh..I get headaches that knock me out all day too!!! (not an excited exclaimation point) I still can't figure out why, though. I think it might be if there is a lot of pressure in the air or something..I don't even know what I'm saying. Sometimes I think I need more water..or perhaps more sugar...or perhaps less sugar..or maybe it's because I need food. But I really don't know. The only way I can really get rid of them is if I go to sleep....sucks. OR I have found that Excedrin (however its spelled) Migraine works pretty good too. But Advil doesn't work, no asprin...no nothin....I hate it. I get em right behind my eyes..(and I don't think my eyes are going bad either)..let me know if that corn thing works..never heard of that before.

You know I get those too. I was doing better in NY, but now that we've moved, I've been having them a lot. I wonder if it's the climate change. Or hormones. Or whatever.

I have one of those things, but I bought it at Linens 'N' Things. It smells all lavendery when you heat it up. They sell a spray there that you can refresh it with. You should buy that!

A yellow stripey person is sitting here, staring at me and purring contentedly, with drool running down his beard. Just thought you'd like to know.
