For April fools day we went to Monterey Bay. Mostly to put miles on the van, but also to see something new.

We didn't make to the aquarium, so we'll have to go back soon.

I think the birds in the picture that you didn't know are cormorants. They are fish eating birds. They were using them in China to fish. In China they had ring around their neck so the fish the bird cought wouldn't be eaten by the bird. We also recently saw them at Mackinaw Island. The DNR does like them cause they eat the game fish in the Great Lakes.
Did you go to the aquarium while you were down there? It is BEAUTIFUL!
